Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has announced it will hold a mammoth public meeting under the banner of “Azmat-e-Wilayat Conference” at Nishtar Park on Sunday October 27.
“MWM’s Wahdat Wing has been assigned to finalise the arrangements for the conference in which hundreds of thousands of people from Karachi and rural Sindh will participate,” said Allama Hassan Zafar Naqvi, deputy secretary general and spokesman for the MWM.
Addressing the press conference he said that “Wilayat” is a divine term introduced by God Almighty in Quran and elaborated by Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH), the last apostle and Prophet of God.
“It is Wilayah that led and guided the human beings let alone Muslims. We believe that faith in Wilayat and following the true path of Wilayat will enable us to sort out all the problems and drive Pakistan out of prevailing crisis,” he said.
Allama Hassan Zafar Naqvi said that Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH) had ordered the Muslims at Ghadeer, a crossroad between Mecca, Medina and other places of Arabian Peninsula, to follow the true path of Wilayah.
“Shia Muslims are bracing for a historic showdown, a huge public meeting, a mammoth rally at Nishtar Park,” he said demanding Sindh government and Karachi’s administration to ensure foolproof security and adopt adequate arrangements.
He said that committees and sub committees were working to make arrangements. He said that Shia notables, scholars, anjumans and poets have been invited and they have ensured their participation.
“We demand federal government to formulate a concrete anti-terrorists policy to eliminate the terrorist network. We demand that killers of the Shiites be arrested and be hanged publicly,” he urged.
The MWM’s central leader further demanded that takfiri Yazidi nasbi terrorists should be taken to task and ban imposed on them should be witnessed by ban on their all sorts of activities including a strict ban on their propaganda through media and social media.
The MWM leader demanded that increase in the tariff of electricity and soaring prices of petroleum products should be reduced forthwith and people should be given relief.
Allama Sadiq Raza Taqvi, Hassan Hashmi, Maulana Deedar Jalbani, Maulana Ali Anwar Jafari, and Ali Hussain of the MWM were also present.
